Gondrong Thrifting started in 2019 with a rented rack, a phone camera and a rule: only pieces we would wear ourselves.

We source from deadstock warehouses, closing stores and private collections across Java. Every jacket is inspected seam by seam, cleaned, repaired where needed and photographed exactly as found. Flaws are part of the record, not something to hide.

What we look for

Technical shells with taped seams. Work jackets with honest wear. Sportswear from decades that got the proportions right. Anything with a story in the label.

How we authenticate

Construction, hardware, labels, stitching and provenance. If a piece does not pass, it does not go online. No replicas, no reprints, no restocks.

When it is gone, it is gone. That is the point.
